Living in Las Vegas, I often get asked 2 questions. 1. People actually LIVE in Vegas? and 2. What do locals do for fun?

I answer the first question with a simple word, yes. As for the second question, that tends to be a little longer answer.

Living in Vegas has jaded me towards other cities. Nothing, not even New York, compares to the 24 hour fun Vegas offers. However, that 24 hour fun is usually aimed at the tourists, with the casino's, night clubs, and gambling. Where as locals tend to barricade themselves in their homes, spend the evening entertaining friends, visiting their favorite neighborhood bars, and restaurants.

Some, more adventurous locals go hiking, biking, climbing and experience a different Vegas then most tourists.

And that is the Vegas I am going to show you.
